No, because like I said, it's a Nuance issue, not an Apple issue. The nuance Vocalizer voices do that on every platform, weather it's iOS's or OS X's Voiceover, NVDA and Jaws. Like I said, Alex doesn't do that, and that's who I use all the time. I might use one of the Siri voices here and there, which I might add are also owned by Nuance as well, but I lean back on Alex. Just keep that in mind, it's not just an Apple issue, it's everywhere else too. Nuance would have to reprogram their voices so that it would ignore abbreviations or make them smarter like Apple does with Alex. Also, they would have to do that on every platform.
