Hi, Jen. I also have a hotmail account and experience this problem. It seems to happen when two emails come in very close to the same time. No matter what I’ve done, I cannot clear the unread count. I’ve tried turning mail off and back on, changing the sync settings, rebooting my iPhone, resetting network settings, and even deleting and re-adding the account. If there are any other suggestions, I’d also be grateful to hear them. :) Thanks all, and have a great day! :)
