The way I understand it is that the tv itself doesn't have audio description, but the app you use. As far as I know the netflix app gives you the option of audio description on available movies and tv shows. Not all programs even on netflix aren't available for dvs. I have the 4th gen apple tv which is the latest. Anyone is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong, or add to my coment.
