Thank you, Sieghard, for your careful explanation. I used to have no
problems with the Audible app until the version prior to this newest
release. That one stopped working - wouldn't download - so I deleted
and re-installed the app. I can get as far as typing in my email
address. Then if I swipe right, or just slide my finger down, VoiceOver
says "Password, secure, double-tap to edit." When I double-tap, the
phone makes a couple of short sounds I don't know how to describe. The
editfield does not open, and the keyboard disappears. I can see the
"Continue button, the "forgot password link, conditions of use, and the
"Need help? Contact Customer Support" button. I contacted Customer
support yesterday, both by phone and email. The representative I spoke
with had me go through troubleshooting steps I had already done:
removing and re-installing the app and powering the phone off and back
on, all to no avail. I'm supposed to get a call back from someone in
their "back office team" today. We'll see.
