Well, this is odd. I toggled use pitch change to off, nothing changed. I toggled it back on. Nothing changed. But, when I went back in and reselected Samantha as the default dialect, it sounded less muffled. So, maybe my iPhone just got part of its brain scrambled, or I did. In any case, it is back to sounding OK. I will say, the Siri Male voice seems more responsive now with 9.3. That is what I was using until I got Samantha sounding OK again. I would use Alex, but there are too many strange pronunciations for me to tolerate him long. Richard
