Thanks to the question about Audio Ducking, I did some digging in settings and
discovered what I think is a bug fix and possibly a new setting, at least new
to me.
BTW, the only way to adjust audio ducking is by putting it on the rotor.
First, the bug fix. Before 9.3, Siri would never work through my Apple
Airpods/earphones.
I tried using Siri to get to the VoiceOver settings, forgetting that Siri
hadn't worked when using my earphones; and wala, Siri worked just fine.
Now, the new feature to me at least.
In the Accessibility settings, there is a keyboard setting that is different
than the regular keyboard setting under General. In the accessibility keyboard,
the first item is "Key Repeat." This defaults to on. Double tap it and you find
that it enables holding down a key to have it repeat and you can set how long
you hold the key before it repeats, etc.
Or, you can turn it off.
I had not seen this setting before.
