Ari explained below the documented way to pause a recording in DropVox while using VoiceOver but that method seldom works for me. I've found that putting one finger on the play button and then double tapping with another finger. Watt I call a split finger double tap, usually works fine to pause. Another single finger double tap will restart the recording.
