I've been using the BARD Mobile app for most of my reading the past several
months and have not used Audible in quite a while. I started an Audible book
last night running the latest version 2.8 and have the narration speed set
at 1.25 times. I'm a big fan of the Apple earpods and often use their remote
button to rewind by pressing and holding it quickly three times. With this
latest version of Audible, I'm noticing that after I rewind in this manner,
the narration speaking speed is noticeably slower even though it is still
set at 1.25 times. The only way I can get it to return to speaking at the
set speed is to execute the narration speed button and close the screen that
opens. I don't actually have to change the setting.

I was wondering if anyone else can duplicate this issue and whether you've
discovered a workaround?

Thanks in advance for your help.
