Yes, Alan, I can replicate your finding exactly.  Would it cheer you
up at all to know that things used to be worse?  <grin>  Although the
rewind and fast forward troubles with the headphone remote buttons
were allegedly fixed with the release of Audible 2.x, earlier
iterations of this version featured an unwanted continuous rewind back
to the start of the book if the triple-tap-and-hold press was
executed.  I have been meaning to let Audible know about this bug and
promise to do so now that you have also mentioned it.
