Hi, Keith! As far as the heart rate goes, it'll give you a resting heart rate when you're just standing, sitting, etc., and then when you do your exercise, it'll increase, of course, and it might say "Fat-burn zone". Then when it goes up higher it'll say "CardioZone". Then when you increase your heart rate even further, it'll say "Peak zone", or something similar to that. I hope I clarified this with you.
