Hello Mary, Radio 1 is aimed at young people and very noisy. Radio 2 is Easy listening and more suitable for my generation. Radio 3 is classical. Radio 4 is mainly talk where you can hear the long running soap the Archers. The afternoon plays are usually very good. Radio 4 Extra is old drama and comedy etc. Radio 5 I’m not too sure but I believe it is a dumbed down and more sporty version of radio 4. Radio 6 is known as the music station but I’ve never listened.
