I've listened primarily to BBC World Service for news since Short Wave Radio
days and the last several years via TuneIn Radio.
Just the lack of commercials is reason enough, but they actually spend time
on news.
Radio 4 Extra, which can also be found with TuneIn Radio is great fun with
some of the comedy and drama shows.
I've been hoping BBC iPlayer would come to the States in hopes that we can
get access to some of the audio described shows, so I am going to go find it
in the App store.

Thank you, Gina. It sounds like your favorite and the classical are the way
to go. There are also some other things, like radio Wales, radio Scotland,
radio ulster, and the sports stuff. But I'm sorry to say I am not into
soccer, and I have no idea about cricket. So I think I'll stick to the
music, and maybe play or some news. Our news media so awful. Maybe yours is
better.
