I have an iPhone 4, and also have issues with my wifi dropping, so
it's not just a 4S issue. It doesn't matter which display I have
connected, whether it be an Apex, Refreshabraille, or Focus, the issue
persists and on a wide veriety of wifi connections. SO, I'm not
confident it's a braille display issue specifically, but I'm also not
very confident in diagnosing the problem.
