Does anyone foresee the app going on sale at some point? Sorry, I know that makes me seem like a total cheapskate. I really want to support the app at its full value for all the development that went into it, but in trying to manage my finances, I’m curious as to whether or not the app has ever gone on sale on the Android market. Thanks in advance! And, feel free to chastise me if you think I’m being unreasonable. :)

It uses other sources to supplement the onboard maps. Here is some info from the Navteq frequently asked questions.
