Well, since you said you like the small screen, that would be a definite point in favor of the SE. As you probably know, the se does not have thethe 3D Touch feature, and that is going to have more use in the new OS. But if you don't care, go for the SE. Why not? Also, if you care about the headphone jack, chances are very good that the new phone is not going to have one. If you are OK with 64 GB of storage, that would be another point in favor. The newer models are said to have more storage capacity.
