I have numerous naive questions. We purchased a wi fi ready tv.
We have never used that feature as of yet. My wife who is low vision records a lot on the dvr. We have verizon fios. We are ttold by year's end there will be taling menus. I'll believe it whenn it happens. So I am intterested in apple tv. What is the cost for the current version? I understand tthat apple tv let's you use netflicks, huulu, etc. Are the cost off these apps in addition to the base apple price, or included in the base price? I would like to"cut the cord" next summer with fios when my contract ends and use apple tv and or apps. I am not clear as to the types of programs available on netflicks, hulu, etc. If these apps include the regular 4 major network programms, what is the delay or lag time to access the shows after their orifinal network broadcast? My wife recorded big brother the other night. It was interupted by weather bulletins, so the next day on her phone she watched it on the cbs app for free. Why would someone pay for netflicks or huluu if programs are free on network apps? and I am a big mlb fan and we do not have the mlb network on fios. I understand it is available with apple tv.
