Not true, not true at all... lol. I loved my 4, still have it and in mint condition. Had no problems with it at all ever. Though I have a 4S now, so, it is just gathering dust at the moment.

This means that if a person has a phone for say two years, the likelyhood of it's lasting for another two years is questionable I believe.
