Hi Ben and List, I think the 4S 16 Gig which on contract will be available for $99 is definitely an attractive option, you can save $100 over the 16 Gig iPhone 5 which is at $199. Now, is the iPhone 5 worth an extra $100? Well, if I came from a 3GS or 4 I would probably say yes, having a 4S 64 Gig I feel the same as Raul, there are just not enough hardware reasons for me to upgrade at this time. Instead I may actually consider buying an iPod Touch 5 again, this way I can see how I like the larger screen size and now that the iPod Touch gets SIRI and has a 5 MP auto focus back camera which is actually a better camera than even the 4 if I understand this correctly it's definitely worth considering. It would be the device I'd use at home for audio books and other stuff or even for a long flight it would make sense with 40 hours of audio playback. I also like the thought of the wrist loop and the reverseable 9-PIN connector. Of course I will probably wait until I know what the deal is with the iPad Mini which is expected to be announced around mid October.

Obviously the faster CPU and the form factor are nice things to have, but I'm not sure if those will justify the price difference between a 5 and a used or even new 4s. Cheers, Ben.
