There probably is no problem, but people jump on the update at 10 AM Pacific
each year and then ask why it takes so long. The problem, if any, is that
probably millions of people are trying to download and install this update
right now and every year Apple's servers while they may not grind to a halt,
slow down a lot trying to handle all these requests. This is a 2 Gb download
and depending on which iPhone you have even after the update has downloaded,
it could take half an hour or maybe even more for it to install and for
Voiceover to come back. My suggestion is to let it sit and be near it so you
can hear if it starts talking.
Also, and this again is advice many say is not necessary, but often it may
avoid problems, everybody who updates should follow a few preparations:
1. Check the app store and do any app updates you may have
2. Back up your iOS device whether it's to the cloud or to iTunes,, make
sure you have a current backup.
3. Close all apps from the app switcher.
4. At least reboot your phone, better to do a Reset Network Settings, then
reconnect to your Wi-Fi.
5. Now do the update.

So, I ran the update and the line went across the screen showing that it was
updating. Then, the iTunes symbol came up and is just sitting there.
What's the problem?
