I'm a bit confused about what exactly you need in order to use the YiKaiEn iReader with your iPad. I'm assuming the Otterbox case prevents your using the cable that came with the YiKaiEn iReader because the lightning plug on it is configured so it doesn't fit. I'm not sure an extension cable is the best way to go because I didn't see many of those listed as being Apple certified on Amazon. What type of plug connects to the actual YiKaiEn iReader on the cable that came with it? If it is a common type of connector, you might have better luck finding an Apple certified lightning cable that has a small lightning plug which will work with the Otterbox case and the appropriate connector on the end which connects to the YiKaiEn iReader. Just another alternative you might wish to consider. Good luck.
