I am late to this thread, but I am having this issue and I have an iPhone 6. It is not a plus, so I don’t think it is an issue with larger phones. If I turn VO off and then on again, it corrects itself, but whenever I first plug my EarPods into the jack, VO comes out of only the left ear. This is constant.
