The reason I don't like the delete button killing off the whole thread is that I often don't realize I'm in a thread. If I have been within mail messages deleting them and then the next one opens, I can get into a thread and not realize it's a thread. Then I hit delete, I get the trash messages thing, I have to cancel, then go back and expand the threat. That's a lot of messing around that shouldn't have to happen. The other thing I don't like is that VoiceOver reading is off when you do actually trash a thread from within a single message. You get the trash messages thing, you agreed to it, then it reads the previous message title, that is the thread you just trashed, instead of reading the new message title. So then you don't know anything about the new message, including whether it is part of a thread. It just doesn't seem as efficient. I would rather be with in the mail message list and delete threads that way. Mary
