There is no official Kodi app you can simply download, if there were of course there would be no reason why companies would sell an Apple TV with Kodi installed for an upcharge. It would appear that you can sideload Kodi using Xcode, of course this is probably something a lot of people can't do because I believe you definitely need a Mac for this so if you are a PC user as far as I know this is not possible. Apparently all of us with an old Apple TV 2 could jailbreak it and install Kodi on it and hence have an accessible box with Kodi. Something I may look into.
