Dan, my battery life on my old IPhone 4 is starting to drop off so I took that plunge too. I ordered mine from the Apple store app on my existing IPhone. It took about a minute to complete the transaction. I got the black 64gb version on AT&T. My confirmation email says that it will arrive on September 21 which I beliee is this coming Friday. Frank
