Todd, "custom actions" is the feature where you may or may not see on your 
Braille display that there are "actions available" for any screen, such as the 
home screen. They are custom as both Apple and third party developers can have 
whatever they choose as available actions. So that's where I got the "custom" 
from. As for dot and key commands, I do not use a Braille display on iOS, so 
appreciate the dot or key command for a double tap which is now space with dots 
3-6. Hope this answers and clarifies things.
