OK, hadn’t used them in a while; thanks for clarifying.

The dots are a screen protector by themselves.

OK so the plastic is not usable with the dots. The dots will work covering the
screen as long as the glass is covering the screen first. I figure we probably
need something because I don’t think the dots, themselves, have a screen
protector, do they?

Thanks.

You definitely want to get rid of the Otterbox dEfender screen cover and I
would use either the screen protector with the dots or the glass
screenprotector without the dots, but somehow I don't think trying to double
them up would work as well nor would it be necessary. If you still want to do
this you definitely can't put the glass screenprotector on top of the tactile
screen protector. First of all I doubt it would hold very good and secondly it
would defeat the purpose of the dots which you probably wouldn't feel through
the glass screen protector or if you do then not very well.

Sieghard

Subject: question about using Speed Dots with an Otterbox case on an iPad Air II

All, the question is:

We bought the SpeedDots for the iPad Air II and an Otterbox Defender case. In
order to use them together, do we have to remove and not use the plastic screen
protector part that comes with the Otterbox case?

If we can use the dots with the plastic screen protector, do we add the dots to
the iPad with the plastic part already covering the screen or cover it with the
plastic piece after the dots are on?

As an aside, the iPad came with a glass screen protector; if we wanted to
consider using it, I know we couldn’t use the plastic from the Otterbox case
and the glass protector at the same time. In that instance, would we cover the
screen with the glass and then the dots or the dots and then the glass?

Hope that makes sense; thanks for replies.
