Hi, would it be possible to add Salem, Mass? We have many individuals with
visual impairments and tourist from all over the world. It would be very
valuable here. Andy and Shubert

Hey Thom,

Regarding your questions.
I have added the traffic light positions manually.
It doesn't let you know if the light is green or not but it is in my plans to
do it.
Next week i'm going to update the app so it can give vibrations to an apple
watch as well as play an audio message in case you use headsets.
I'm still working on navigation in order to make it as good as blindsquare but
free of charge.

  Hi Erjon,

I can look in to it. I looked on the site to get an idea of how this works,
and couldn’t find a manual or anything. How does the phone know there is a
traffic light?

Does it let us know if our parallel traffic has a green light?

Does the app work with the phone in a pocket, or on a hip beltclip?

Thanks, and hope to help you with ideas,

  Hey Thom,

I already sent an email to Columbia Department of Transportation but i
haven't heard back from them. I'm going to call them on Monday but in the
meanwhile, if you know anyone that works there you can tell them about my app.

I agree with Steve. If you include Columbia, South Carolina, we will be able

This is a new free app for travelers who are blind or visually impaired.

The app is called City Lights - Navigation and is designed to give a
vibration alert as a traveler nears a traffic light.

Cities supported at the moment include:

    Australia: Victoria State.

    Canada: Montreal.

    Greece: Athens.

    UK: Manchester.

USA: San Francisco, Oakland, Chula Vista and Boston.
