I have a 6S Plus as well and this has never happened to me. I would delete KNFB and reinstall it, I believe somebody else also mentioned that maybe because iut does use a fair bit of resources (all the OCR is done on the phone and not in the cloud) that it is a good idea to close some apps if you have many of them open. I habitually close my apps throughout the day so I rarely have more than 2 or 3 of them open.
