Music is actually an app not a folder and unfortunately there is
no way to get music into the Music app except to use iTunes, buy
the music from the iTunes Store or sign up for Apple Music.
Actually if you do have Apple Music and you have some of your own
music which is not available from iTunes, you still need to have
this music either in iTunes or on your iPhone so it can get
uploaded to Apple.
You can use Dropbox or OneDrive to store you music and then use a
different app to play said music, I think one of these apps is
called CloudPlayer.
Having said all this, the latest version of iTunes is actually
the most accessible version since iTunes 11 and syncing music is
really not very difficult.

Can somebody tell me the easiest way to put music on an iPhone
without using iTunes? I have not fed iTunes app for this phone as
of yet and would really rather not if it all possible. I would
like to music to show up in the music folder if Kathy bowl like
it would if you use iTunes. Any help.
