It has been a while since I read about it, maybe it has changed. But I surely thought it silenced phone calls, too. I thought I remembered that there was a way to enter numbers that you wanted to get through as a matter of record, and the provision that if the same number called within a minute, or something like that, it would also get through. Perhaps things have changed with one of the recent updates. I rarely use do not disturb.
