Hi Sieghard, I have been thinking about what you have been saying about Siri. I know I agree with you that I wish Apple would make it do more. But I am wondering in the scheme of things I wonder how many sighted people use Siri like the visually impaired do. I know my wife does not use Siri and I cannot think of one sighted person I know ever use it. So I am thinking Apple does not improve Siri just for the blind and they don’t get much input from the sighted users, so that is why I am thinking they don’t improve it. Just my thought on this.

The only advantage Siri has is that it was first, but all other voice-based assistants are smarter, helpful, and useful.
