Hi everyone and good morning!
I've been wanting to comment on this post, but I've only had my trusty
IPhone SE with me, and I suck with dictation and having a reply say what I
actually want it to say! One of these days I'll bear down and learn my Zag
fold up Bluetooth keyboard, but I'd rather put that off for now! LOL!
Anyways, I've purchased the Qardio Arm Blood Pressure Machine. This thing
works absolutely hands down fantastic, same for the app too!
So I've also been researching for a Bluetooth weight scale too. As I wanted
both the BP machine and the scale to work together on the same app, AKA
from the same company. This is why I went with Qardio for both. I'm buying
the Qardio Base; weight scale, at the end of the month.
So they call this scale the Qardio Base. Which gives the person their body
weight, their body mass index along with various other measurements.
The one thing I'm very interested in and plan on using every day, is the
scale's fluid weight. As I'm back on dialysis, after having a transplanted
kidney for 8 years, and knowing exactly how much fluid I've gained in
between treatments, would help me out immensely! Now I know it'll take me a
bit of time to get the fluid weight deal down pat, but I think I'll get it
and knowing this number will be quite good for me, and let me know exactly
what I can get away with in-between dialysis treatments.
I can also tell you without a doubt, that the Qardio app, and you can use
this one app to work all of the Cardio health devices, is completely
accessible for Voice Over! It will work in conjunction with your IPhone's
Health App, meaning when you take a BP measurement, or you weigh yourself,
your reading automatically goes straight into your Health App too. So
you've got your readings in both the Health App and the Qardio App. Plus
through the Qardio app, you can email your history of readings to your
doctor! Now that's big!
I use my Qardio Arm, BP Machine, at least twice a day, and often times
more. It's quick and easy to keep tabs on the body for sure and now, there
ain't no excuse not to!
BTW: Cardio is spelled
Q A R D I O
Ain't it amazing, the older you get, the more medical crap you end up knowing!
And that's huge, having gone through some bigtime surgeries and all that
myself, if you can't strongly advocate for yourself while in the hospital,
you end up waking up dead!
These are my last few words......Later!

My Aria always weighs the same no matter how many times you get on.
Take care,

I have the Beets scale but it doesn't always weigh consistently with
itself. If your feet are even slightly off, it will be. I wonder if the
Quardio scale is any more forgiving than the beets? The Beets does have
very pronounced laces for your feet, it's just that I don't always hit them
perfectly before it takes a reading. That may be true on all of them though.

I like devices which have Apple Homekit support and therefore I
bought the Withings Body scale which works great. The new Withings
app (Withings was bought by Nokia) is also quite accessible.

I have been using the fit bit aria scale for years and really love it.
I think it's about $130 on Amazon. Take care, Lois

Hello,
Has anyone found a reliable digital scale that interfaces with the
iPhone, preferably one that also measures BMI or percentage of body
fat? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
