Hi Mary,
You would get a variety of different opinions from people who care to
respond. Most Bluetooth-capable braille displays have very few or no issues
inputting to an iPhone. For any Grade 2 Braille issues remaining: Eight-dot
Braille, I find, is the most reliable means of inputting what you want; and
it isn't difficult to learn. (You can always revert to six-dot or Grade 2
Braille when you need to, for certain symbols which you are unsure of.) Some
displays can't give you eight-dot Braille, though. I use either a Focus14
Blue, or a Focus40 Blue.

Subject: Using a braille display to write braille on an iPhone
I know that in the past, there have been fairly serious issues regarding the
writing of braille on an iPhone when you use a braille display. I haven't
really kept up with this, but now, I am interested to know if braille input
is more reliable, or if displays, such as the humanware, still lock up, or
if there are issues with grade two and words coming out strangely. Did they
fix that?
