Unless apple does keep touch id around in some way. Like maybe use the x version of the IPhone as it's fancy model and keep the 8 or what ever the next version is as it's normal everyday phone. I mean what was the point in putting touch id on the mac book last year if they want to get rid of it, then again the mac book of last year didn't even have a lightning port for ear buds.
