I don't experience any sluggishness with my Microsoft Universal Mobile keyboard while typing. This is the case even while using airpods or my Trekz Titaniums. However, I do own a couple of older Bluetooth speakers which are very sluggish to the point of being useless if using Voiceover. You should be in good shape presuming you're using reasonably modern equipment. I type around 90 words per minute. Currently, there is a nasty problem with Braille displays when using iOS11. Hopefully, that will be fixed in the upcoming iOS11.1 update.
