I had my iPhone 6 for 3 years, and finally decided to upgrade because it was 
slow running IOS 11. it's not so much different than what happens when you have 
had the same PC for years.

I guess we have to agree to disagree on this. I don't think Apple needs to 
slow down older devices running new iOS versions on purpose and if this were 
so it would effect everybody not just a few people.
I think most people buy new iPhones happily enough anyways.

I had issues with my 6s plus, upgraded to the 7plus no issues here.
Apple makes it's older devices not so well when they upgrade the software. 
Many get lucky and not have these issues. The game of the company is to sell 
devices. People always forget that. Come on you can love apple all you want 
don't change the facts.
