Try doing a three finger double tap to unmute voice over. From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Vicki W. Sent: Sunday, January 28, 2018 9:57 AM To: IPhone <viphone@googlegroups.com> Subject: new problem with update After updating to the latest IOS, my mini Ipad 2 lost voice over speech. Siri is working and says VO is turned on, but there is no speech with VO. I asked SIRI to turn on the speech and of course, SIRI didn't know what I was talking about. Sadly, when it happened, the screen was at 0% brightness and the screen curtain is on, which SIRI has no clue what that is. I can't turn the IPAD off using SIRI and the volume is turned up. I've tried various commands and no luck getting VO to talk. What can I do to either turn off the IPad or get Voice Over to start speaking. The battery level was at 61% when this happened and is still working. Thanks. Vicki -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
