Hi Richard, I have it set to translate all recordings.
I just dug out my old IPhone5S and it worked as expected Just Record translated over a minute’s dictation. I then returned to the IPhone7 and set translate to never. I used the same recording and manually translated it on the Iphone7 and it worked fine. So it would appear that if I translate recordings manually the Iphone7 behaves as it should. Strange.
