I believe it goes to the end of the year and I have no idea if Apple will replace the battery if it is still in very good shape, you would have to ask them.

So I do not know why the battery shows so good. I checked my 6s plus and it says 100 percent. Can you believe that. LOL My wife’s 6 plus shows 94 percent. Now I have a question for you. When we get to the end of the year and I want to get new batteries can a person do that even if their battery are still showing very well. Another words does the battery have to be so low of a percentage to take advantage of the $29 battery replacement? Also when does the $29 battery replacement expire? That’s an afternoon drive for many up here in northern British Columbia. I will probably take advantage of the battery replacement for my 6S Plus and my wife’s 6S. Fortunately we have to go to Calgary at the end of May so I will make an appointment with one of the two Apple Stores there. Otherwise my closest Apple Store is in Vancouver which is about 720 miles away from the little town where we live. Have any of you guys with an iPhone 6 who have installed iOS 11.3 checked the Battery Health section to see how much capacity is left? Just curious. I have to send it in because I live in northern Wisconsin and the nearest Apple Store is about 175 miles away. I called into Apple (800-MyApple or 800-692-7753). The support associate asked that I turn off “Find My iPhone” so remote diagnostics could be run and he determined that the charge cycles had been exhausted and the only resolution was to have a new battery installed. I suggest you call into Apple and see if remote diagnostics reveals that your battery is likewise exhausted. If you are, like me, too far away from an Apple store you will be given the option of sending your iPhone 6 in to Apple for battery replacement. If you are fortunate enough to live relatively near an Apple store or certified repair center you will be able to take your iPhone to the nearest store or repair center and get the spent battery replaced for the discount price of $29.00. The caveat to all this is that there be no damage to your iPhone other than that customarily occurring with normal use and care. **************** - Bill from Ino, Wisconsin - "Last week I was diagnosed with insomnia, and now I'm just so tired of it." - Contributor Unknown -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
