If you do end up buying an Apple Watch (iWatch is not a word) then don't make the mistake to buy a second generation watch just to save a few bucks. I have one because that was what was new when I bought it and I often find it a bit annoying because it's a bit slow when it comes to navigating the watch, opening apps etc. I use mine for tracking pool swims, walks and runs and for that it certainly is nice and works well. I know Apple is working with several manufacturers of fitness equipment so that data from the eequipment is transferred to the iPhone or Apple Watch, but I have never looked into this yet since I prefer outdoor activities myself apart from the swimming and the occasional trip to the gym at the pool during the winter if I don't get out skiing.
