Hi Carolyn,
If you have iOS 11, and at least a 5s, the product channel is there. The way
Seeing AI works is that it has what it calls channels. The channel picker is
just above the home button.
The first time you use the app, there will be an explanation of each channel
when you flick to it, and you will have to close that preview to get to the
next channel. This is only the first time through.
Then when you touch the channel picker, and for example, it says Short Text,
you flick up with one finger to document, then product, etc.
I hope that gets you started. It is simply the best app for a variety of uses.
I use it for any product bar codes, or for scanning text.

I did a short recording of a demonstration of the Seeing AI Product Channel.
What I didn’t say in the recording is that when you hear the first beep from
your device, slowly turn the item you are attempting to identify until the
beeps become faster and steady. Then, slowly move the item closer to the
device and when you are between 4 and 6 inches from the device, you should get
results.
