This evening I tried to send a text to a friend who's in my contacts. At the
"to" field, I typed in her name. Then I flicked right to "add contact" and
found her name in the table, and double-tapped. Then I flicked right and
there was her phone number with her name; double-tapped there. Then I
flicked right to the message field and double-tapped typed in my message,
and tapped Send. The message did not go through.

When you are sending a message to somebody in your contacts, which is what
I'm going to do most of the time, do you type in their name, or do you just
go straight to "add contact" and choose them? Sometimes I can get this to
work just fine, and sometimes it seems to confound me. So I exit out and ask
Siri to do it. IN this case I wanted to say more than Siri allows .

What am I doing wrong? I feel really silly.

Susie
