Hi Chris, If you have never used 3D Touch, you would be missing nothing. Seeing as how you’re not used to it. Smile. I don’t use it very much. It gives you immediate access to certain things and certain apps. But it’s a learning curve, and you have to get used to using it to get that access. Pretty much the only reason I use it these days is in the notification area, where you can use it to get rid of all the notifications at one go. I understand that with iOS 12, notifications are going to be group differently. So I’m hoping that the absence of 3D Touch won’t be A big deal. If I do upgrade this year it’s going to be for the XR, because the version has the T-Mobile band in the 600 range which might be very helpful to me out here in Oregon.
