I've also been running IOS 12 since about mid July.
I'm happy with it.
I have a weird bug where double tapping doesn't activate buttons, but a quick 
app switcher closure and re-opening solves it.
I did report it to apple, but I'm not sure that it isn't my phone.
I know apple is a little full of themselves, and their newest phones aren't all 
that, but trust me, you'll miss your phone if you go to android.
