I tend to agree with you, but it isn't true that how someone else sets
up their phone doesn't affect you. Having insecure devices on the
internet and networks negatively impacts all of us.
Also, how Apple chooses to remind people to make their devices more
secure has nothing to do with whether you live in a democracy or a
dictatorship.

In your opinion.
It's up to the individual, how they, choose to use their own property.
Not you or Apple.
It doesn't affect you, how a person decides, to set up their phone.
I live in a Democracy, and not a Dictatorship!

Everyone should have two factor authentication enabled.
I have two factor authentication enabled for my Apple ID and Google
account and it greatly improves security.
So, I understand why Apple continues to nag about enabelling two
factor authentication <grin>
It's actually a very good idea to use that extra layer of security for
your Apple ID and other accounts.

Hi
Did anyone respond to this question? I am having the same issue.
For some odd reason, my phone has been giving me a "suggestion for
apple Id and two factor authentication. When I tap on the suggestion
and/or tip whatever, it takes me into settings and I have the choice
to install now, learn more, or not now. This message pops up
randomly and can appear as much as three to four times a day.
I also continue to receive a suggestion that I can turn on Do not
Disturb While driving. I went into settings and selected manually
for do not disturb. However, it pops up every time I get into the
car. I still receive texts and other notifications while in the car
but also this message. I cannot find in control center or
notifications where to get rid of these suggestions or tips or
whatever they are called. If anyone can help, I surely would
appreciate it.
Kathy
