I’ve noticed several things that led me to this conclusion. The device has overheated on occasion, which caused the battery to swell slightly and, as a consequence, the left edge of the screen has separated ever so slightly from the chassis in the area extending from the mute switch down to at or just below the volume down switch. The screen has a very slight upward curve. And here’s the clincher. 3d touch only seems to work on the righthand side of the screen. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that doesn’t strike me as normal.
