Are these calls from people you recognize, or unknown calls? If they are the latter, sometimes when spam calls are answered, there is actually no one on the other end of the call. If it is happening with calls from contacts, there is a definite problem. However I am not experiencing this with either the 6S or the 8, but I normally do not answer unknown numbers. Things to try: do a soft reboot. Reset network settings. (this will require re-entering any networks you have previously joined and changing the name of the phone if you have set a specific name) Marie
