Hi Gary, You must have a bit of a heavier touch, I like 3D Touch since I use several apps which give me 3D Touch options for a good portion of their functionality and it saves me to open the app and do several taps. The first thing I usually do when I get a new iPhone is to set 3D Touch to it's lightest setting since I don't like to press very hard on the screen. I think it's how you got used to using a touch screen and I find it quite interesting how some things are a bother for people which for me are just right.

I have identified the problem, 3D touch was enabled and set to sensitive hence all the unwanted menus etc popping up everytime I moved my finger. I've turned it off whilst I set up the phone. I may turn it back on at some stage but I am not a fan of it for VIPs Thanks Gary On 10/12/2018 18:21, Kathy Brandt wrote: > Also, especially if it was this way on the other phone, did you turn off auto > correct and predictive text? > > On Dec 10, 2018, at 11:31 AM, Sieghard Weitzel <siegh...@live.ca> wrote: > > While there are of course some differences between an iPhone 6 and 7 I would > say they are mostly in processor speed and camera, there should be no > difference in how the on-screen keyboard works.
