And if you dictate make sure you think for a second or two to make sure what you want to say is what comes out of your mouth and keep the dictation short and in portions or sentences which makes it much more reliable than if you try to dictate a full 30 seconds at a time.

I moved my index finger around the screen and when I find the letter or symbol I want I lift my finger. That is touch typing. I also, have the suggestions turned on so that when I start typing a word, I move my finger just up above the keyboard and check the words it is suggesting. I like that because it can make typing faster. Typing like this takes practice. I remember when I first started typing—and I think before there was dictation—it would take me 15 minutes to type maybe 2 sentences. You probably know this, but you can always dictate, but before you send definitely make sure the text says what you meant it to say. There can be some fairly embarrassing stuff coming from dictation!
