Hi Mark, Isn't it clear that if you had "serious problems installing iOS 6" that SIRI would be affected? *smile*
But joking aside, I had this strange problem that the playback controls weren't showing up consistently in the lock screen after a double press of the home button. Since I use this feature frequently I decided to do a factory restore and that fixed this issue even thoug I upgraded via iTunes to begin with. It's a pain in the neck to do a factory reset, you get 95% of your stuff back pretty quick, but 5% you work on for the next week, small things like setting up custom ring and system tones, adding back Podcasts, Favourite numbers, repurchasing in-app purchases like in List Recorder, having to re-enter Skype user name and password, WiFi passwords etc. Just a bunch of small stuff you never think about once everything is set up.
